PRO Writer Information Checklist
Please follow the following submission guidelines.
Email [email protected] the following INFO needed from you, the composer:
- Full Name used on your PRO account.
- Your PRO (Performing Rights Organization). Which one are you affiliated with?
- PRO IPI/CAE number on your account (Double Check that you have it right.)
- Attach a screenshot of your name and IPI from your PRO account.

Finding Your PRO IPI#
For BMI Users:
Go to http://repertoire.bmi.com/StartPage.aspx at the drop down menu choose songwriter/composer. In search type in your Last Name and then Your First Name. IE John Smith is Smith John. The click search!
Your name will appear with the IPI#. We need the EXACT name as registered with BMI but in the order of First Name Last Name.
For ASCAP Users:
Go To https://www.ascap.com/repertory Click the drop down menu, choose writer. In the search type in your name. Your name will appear with the IPI#. We need the EXACT name as registered with BMI but in the order of First Name Last Name.
